Wasn't it Yesterday?

Wasn't it yesterday that our little angels were born and brightened our family forever? In many ways it feels like the time has flown by, in other ways, it feels like we have lived a whole lifetime since then. No matter what way I look at it, all my kids keep growing up and the twins are no exception.

With that said, Miss Mia will begin preschool this Fall. Yes, preschool! When I look back on how far she has come, it is nothing less than miraculous! I have so many mixed emotions about school, understandably. However, I couldn't be happier with the outcome of her CPSE meeting (Committee on Preschool Education). Mia will continue to receive her same frequency of OT (occupational therapy) and PT (physical therapy) and she will also have a 1:1 aide! Thanks to her wonderful EI (Early Intervention) team and a very agreeable district, I feel like Mia will be in a good place to begin this Fall and Gabriella will be right there with her!

Of course, the beginning of preschool means the ending of Daystar :( How much I will miss the wonderful women there. We will just have to go back for frequent visits to say hi and show off Mia's great progress that she will continue to make. I have a feeling when Mia goes back to visit she will not want to leave......maybe I won't either. Good-byes are always difficult but this new chapter is going to be great!
