Mia's success story has captivated so many, not just her her mom and dad :), that it seems to be spreading over the web, in newsletters, etc. She just brings smiles wherever she goes. So, here is her line up!
In March, she earned a place on the U of R website under "Patients in the Spotlight": http://www.urmc.rochester.edu/childrens-hospital/giving/patients/MiaFallone.cfm . The annual Stroll for Strong Kids is in full fundraising mode. Mia's Marchers will participate for the third year and we hope to be bigger and better than ever!!! So far we already have a team of 26 and we still have two months to expand. If you would like to join our team, here is that link: http://www.helpmakemiracles.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&eventID=800&teamID=9304. The more the merrier!
Yes, they take pictures and videos of all her great moments and milestones so we don't miss them! I mean......what daycare does that? Besides, look how happy she is! Here is the link to "Celebrating the Many Miracles of Mia": http://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=sites&srcid=ZGVmYXVsdGRvbWFpbnxkYXlzdGFyaG9tZW9yZ3xneDo3MTUzYzFkZGE4NGU4YmU5&pli=1 You can find Derby information there as well. Tomorrow Dave and I will participate in a promotional video produced by Dixon Schwabl. I'm not excited to be on camera but I am excited to share our awesome experience at Daystar with others! Although it has not happened yet, we have been asked to speak with a reporter from the Webster Post about Mia's success. So, stay tuned for more ......
